How Can You Show Up for Racial Justice?

1. Sign up for our Monday Action Emails. When you sign up we will send you one to two racial justice actions to complete each week plus an educational or community building opportunity, since we are never done learning.
2. Email [email protected] to request an  Intro to SURJ Call so we can welcome you and explain more about what we do. 
3. Email [email protected] to join our Action Pod to be a part of real local change. Our accountability partners have asked White co-conspirators to continue to show up to do the work to dismantle systemic racism and hold local leaders accountable. When invited, we co-organize with BIPOC-led organizing groups in our community. Together in our Action Pod we break down this big job into bite-sized pieces so we can sustain our efforts over the long haul. You'll work with fellow SURJ volunteers and other groups in town to help shape the decisions being made in local government jurisdictions (like the City of SB, Goleta, County of SB and local school districts). Everyone is welcome and needed.  We meet monthly (both in person and with zoom option). Sign up here.
